[A powerful heroine who's clueless about love vs. a seemingly gentle and courteous hero who's actually possessive]
Ever since she could remember, Jiang Yi had longed to see the world beyond Floating Cloud Mountain.
One night, she sneaks down the mountain. Along the way, she unexpectedly rescues a young woman from another world who has transmigrated, pulling her from a dry well, and then embarks on several strange and dangerous adventures through the martial world.
Within the layers of palace walls, people harboring ulterior motives scheme for power and the throne, plunging the court into turmoil.
To save the friends she once roamed the martial world with, and to uncover the truth about her origins, Jiang Yi fearlessly heads for the capital.
After layers of mystery are peeled away, everything finally settles.
When she turns around, that flash of vermilion has never left her side.
