Supreme Card God: Undead Contract

[Cards]+ [Card Creation]+ [Alien Races]+ [Academy]+ [No Saintly Heroine]

In ancient times, on a planet called Yuan, a war of annihilation raged for thousands of years. The conflict engulfed all civilization, and a new form of technological civilization emerged in its aftermath.

The original continent was split into four. After the eastern continent of Kham was severed from the main landmass, the lingering elemental origins of the war of annihilation affected it. The people of the land discovered that its lower layers were wrapped in rune-veined crystals. By studying these rune crystals, the ancient inhabitants developed a new technological civilization centered on rune matrices.

They channeled the planet's elemental power into rune crystals to form energy matrices. Then, using the different circuits inscribed on each matrix, they connected with different elements in the outside world, building an immense energy network to power cities and machinery. As their research into energy and matrices deepened, the people of Kham discovered that the free-floating power of departed souls in the air could be combined with rune matrices, giving rise to battle card masters.

The story takes place in a remote town on the continent of Kham, where an unexpected power leads to the rise of the supreme card god.
