Earth, already pushed past its limits, was slowly losing the conditions needed for human habitation. Nuclear contamination was also subtly altering the genes of living things. In 2072, the planet's ability to regulate itself finally spiraled out of control under the impact of an unprecedented natural disaster, and a global nuclear crisis erupted. The genes of most living things on Earth were contaminated, causing them to mutate.
But humanity's danger does not end there. It seems an unknown behemoth is looming over all of humankind.
It is slowly awakening.
