"The love Lin Yu felt as a girl became the only comfort in her life."
Her father drank too much, her mother was cutting, and her younger brother was always full of malice. In a traditional Chinese family, children weren't allowed to have too many thoughts of their own. Under that pressure, Lin Yu couldn't see any hope or future for herself at university, until her light arrived. When An Moyan, a lively music student admitted through a special program, appeared, Lin Yu finally felt truly alive. They helped each other and quietly expressed the love they had long kept hidden. That year, at university, Lin Jin was 21 and An Moyan was 19.
"I love you. You're my only light!"
Happiness never lasts long. Three days before An Moyan's birthday, Lin Yu disappeared. Later came the news that she had gone abroad to study. An Moyan waited and waited...
"My light is gone. I can't find her..."
A hot new star took the entertainment industry by storm, making her debut with a distinctive musical style and outstanding all-around talent. Just as she won the Best Singer competition, the renowned special effects animation artist known as Shadow announced she was returning from abroad.
"She looks just like that person..."
Will their chance to reunite lead to rekindled love and a willingness to entrust each other with everything, or will they part for good and never see each other again? Only time will tell...
