I Command Yin and Yang

The old folks in the mountains often say, “Better to sleep in a deserted graveyard than spend the night in a ruined temple.” The ghosts in a graveyard only want offerings of incense; they won’t take your life. But the abandoned temples that have stood for decades no longer house gods or Buddhas. They shelter starving ghosts, violent spirits, and ownerless fiends. It’s easy to enter, but hard to leave. My name is Chen Jingzhe. After accidentally stepping into one of those deserted temples, I embarked on the path of the Dao. I have traveled across China, explored the dragon veins of the Nine Provinces, read feng shui, banished evil spirits, performed spirit-medium rituals, journeyed to the underworld, treated ghosts, practiced sorcery, cultivated the Dao, stirred up trouble in the netherworld, fought the King of Hell, and ventured into Miao territory. Now I command the yin and yang that are mine to rule.
