Su Yurou transmigrated!
She had actually transmigrated into the villainous heroine of a 1970s novel, and on top of that... she was heavily pregnant.
She clearly remembered that the original Su Yurou had often abused the servants, mistreated her parents-in-law, and cursed at her husband. The reason was simple: her husband had been betrayed and was about to be sent to the countryside for re-education. She had set her heart on becoming an official’s wife and couldn’t bear to suffer like that. So she decisively chose to divorce him, abort the baby, and remarry... only to end up begging on the streets. According to the novel, the male lead would be exonerated within a year, reinstated in his post, and return to his former power and influence. Having transmigrated with the whole story in hand, Su Yurou thought of the wealth, status, power, and handsome, top-tier husband waiting for her a year later... As a modern woman of the twenty-first century, she decided to be filial to her parents-in-law, get along with the neighbors, and, most importantly, cling tightly to her husband. Putting up with a year of hardship wasn’t so bad. After all, she’d be a wealthy wife again in a year. Why go looking for some official’s son and make life harder for herself? But once they arrived in the countryside, Su Yurou, who had been prepared to suffer, discovered that the male lead’s family took meticulous care of her and indulged her in every way. The male lead himself gave her whatever she asked for, was attentive and considerate, and spoiled her into a helpless baby who couldn’t even look after herself...
Su Yurou: What kind of hardship is this? This is practically the life of an empress dowager!
I'm afraid I haven't finished writing yet.
At present, both the male and female protagonists seem a bit useless. They are not as enjoyable and good-looking as the book "The Evil Ex-Wife" I have read before.
