Beneath the Tree Canopy

[Two female leads + devoted relationship + younger woman/older woman + daily life + healing each other]

Innocent college student Jiang Xin vs. cool, aloof professor Shen Shunian

(Jiang Xin and Shen Shunian are both adults in their twenties.)

Jiang Xin lost both parents at a young age. Fortunately, she had some talent and worked hard, eventually getting into a good university. She thought she'd have an ordinary life, dating and marrying like any other couple, then quietly growing old.

That was until she met Shen Shunian. Suddenly, Jiang Xin's world was filled with light again, brilliant as the stars...

Shen Shunian was a professor in the literature department at Huaqing University. She and Jiang Xin weren't teacher and student. Shen Shunian met Jiang Xin at her younger sister Shen Youyou's birthday party, and with Shen Youyou playing matchmaker, the two people who should have had nothing to do with each other began a very different kind of relationship...

Author: What kind of relationship? That's so hard to guess! (,,>᎑<,,)

One day after graduating from college, Jiang Xin went to visit:

Jiang Xin: Professor Shen, you look so sexy when you're teaching seriously!

Shen Shunian: My dear Xin, you're so cute when you smile like a fool.

Shen Youyou: So, am I part of your play too?

[Two wounded souls lean on each other. Each becomes the other's shelter from the storm, and a light in the other's life.]
