In the year 5067 of the Star Era, modern technology and beast-taming powers coexist in a future world. After the "Red Moon Catastrophe," human civilization rebuilds a new social order. The moon suddenly appears in the daytime and shatters, releasing a red light that mutates plants and animals across the globe. Ninety percent of humanity dies, until Chen Xian discovers the art of beast taming and turns the tide.
On his sixteenth birthday, orphan Ji Ran, whose parents have both died, awakens the "God-Tier Beast-Taming System." He gains an SSSS-rank talent and a starter resource pack, and forms a contract with a mutated Thunder Saber-Toothed Tiger.
He makes a stunning debut at a school test, drawing attention from all sides. He befriends Zhou Yan, the son of a materials merchant, and discovers that he is a partner worth trusting.
After surviving an assassination attempt and killing his attackers, he obtains rare materials. Together with Zhou Yan, he takes on the underground faction "Dark Claw," and the two forge a deep friendship.
He gets into the top beast-taming academy, "Firmament Academy," through the college entrance exam, meets Zhou Yan's betrothed, Lin Yu, and the three form a team and embark on a new adventure.
