The Soul-Suppressing Coffin

An archaeological team discovers an ancient bronze coffin covered in incantations in western Hunan. The day it is opened, a string of murders begins. Lin Qiu, a scholar of folk customs, is forced into the investigation and discovers that the thousand-year-old coffin that seals spirits is connected to a secret her family has guarded for generations. As the blood-red words on the bottom of the coffin, “Whoever breaks the seal will die,” come true one by one, a pact between the living and the dead has quietly begun.
