Warm Little Sunshine × Rebellious, Proud Ghost
[Healing / Funny, Sweet Romance / Love Grows Over Time / Angsty / Happy Ending]
Shen Guannan has never been the one anyone favors. But in an especially scorching summer, he receives the sweetest candy and treasures it deep in his heart. Only the cicadas outside the window know.
“Shen Guannan, do you know what class we have next?”
“Math.”
“Shen Guannan, you tricked me again.”
“You’re so easy to fool. You believe everything I say.”
“I’m so cold. Can I borrow your coat?”
“I’m cold too.”
“Shen Guannan, people like you who say one thing and mean another will never find a girlfriend.”
“Isn’t that you, right here, you scaredy-cat?”
“If everyone has a fixed amount of good luck, please give him all of mine, too.”
“Shen Guannan, guess which hand has the candy. Guess right and you’ll get a prize.”
“Your right hand.”
“Congratulations, you got it right. Your prize is a box of stars.”
The sun won’t shine on you forever, but the warmth it gave you never fades, just like me, Shen Guannan.
Shen Guannan got a whole box of stars, but lost his sun. From then on, all he remembered was her and the cicadas singing in midsummer.
