The Cage Beneath the Heavens

When the clash of blades from the ancient East meets the cold, despairing technology of a future apocalypse, an epic saga spanning ten thousand years, woven with intrigue and destiny, begins to unfold. Is the legendary “Celestial Cage” the last bulwark protecting civilization, or an invisible shackle imprisoning fate?

The story unfolds with fierce intensity across two timelines that seem distant yet are entwined by destiny:

The ancient timeline centers on the turbulent final years of the Yuan dynasty, and the ultimate battle that will decide the fate of the martial world and an even more distant future: the “Divine Sword Gathering.” The righteous alliance, the demonic cult’s ambitious leader, and a mysterious faction wielding lost mechanical arts converge at the altar of the legendary Meteorite Tomb, all seeking the “Heavenly Sword,” which fell from the sky and holds the power to destroy the world, along with a shocking secret.

The modern timeline depicts a future metropolis on the brink of collapse despite its advanced technology. A crimson haze known as the “Scarlet Miasma” spreads unseen, bringing not only devastating environmental disasters but also terrifying biological mutations that threaten the last sparks of human civilization. Meanwhile, controversial genetic fusion technology has given rise to a new breed of humans: powerful, yet morally ambiguous, known as “the Fused.”

The two timelines ultimately converge on the central mysteries of the “Heavenly Sword” and the “Celestial Cage.”

This is a unique epic that fuses the passion of wuxia, hard science fiction, layers of suspense, and the struggle to survive an apocalypse. It explores the conflict between fate and free will, the limits of technological ethics, and the light and darkness of human nature in extreme conditions. The first part of the story ends here, but the entanglement of destinies across time and space, and the tumultuous echoes of the future, have only just begun to sound their overture.
