A Cross-Time Love Affair: The Mystery of the Stone Relics
Modern-day girl A Jin crashes through several relationships with her passionate love, only to fall for Ze Chu, a chivalrous hero still hung up on his ex. A transmigration accident sweeps her and Ze Chu into ancient times, and Ze Chu’s idealized first love, He Mu, comes along too. Taking on the identity of the “Heaven and Earth Guardian,” A Jin sets out to collect stone artifacts and seal away the Gufang. But in the midst of her adventures, she uncovers a deadly secret: Ze Chu’s mix of dislike and concern for her is a mystery, the second male lead’s protection of her hints at a bond spanning time and space, and the white-bearded old man’s “guidance” seems to conceal a sacrificial plot. When A Jin is covered in wounds protecting Ze Chu, he is swayed once more by He Mu’s cold expression.
After the mission ends and they return to the modern world, everyone thinks it’s all over. But the cinnabar mole on A Jin’s palm begins to bleed again. The stone beast in the museum display case has eyes exactly like Ze Chu’s. The antique necklace He Mu wears suddenly breaks, revealing half a note: “A thousand-year calamity, solved by two. Protect the girl, and the ferocious beast will appear.” Looking at A Jin, Ze Chu shows fear and hesitation for the first time. “Your birthmark... who carved it into you?”
- Why does the cinnabar mole echo the Gufang? Who is manipulating this “mission” spanning a thousand years?
- Does Ze Chu’s obsession with He Mu hide the truth of a betrayal in a past life?
- Is the second male lead’s quiet protection the work of fate, or does he have another motive?
- When “loving someone you can never have” becomes the key to lifting a blood curse, how will A Jin choose between “protecting all living beings” and “letting go and moving on”?
