Bloodshed in a Lonely City: Changde 1943

In 1943, the situation in the Pacific battlefield was stalemate, and the Japanese army attempted to open up China's southwest defense line by capturing Changde. The 57th Division of the 74th Army of the Army was ordered to face danger. Eight thousand "Hu Ben" soldiers rushed to the isolated city and fought to the death with 30,000 Japanese invaders. Recruit Zhao Gang stepped into Changde with the enthusiasm to serve the country and grew up rapidly in the war. He became a life-and-death brother with Zhou Dalei, a veteran who had returned from the Songhu battlefield.
