The Ultimate Dharma for the Next Generation

Ordinary people only have a small bookshelf with a few books in their minds, and their cognitive limitations and paranoia are very serious. When encountering new books and new knowledge, you will inevitably compare it with the original knowledge. Once the two conflict, people will be entangled, and then two situations will occur: The first is to deny the new book, deny the author, or even attack; The second situation is to doubt oneself, deny oneself, then throw away the original book and put the new one in. This is something that ordinary people cannot do. Most people will deny others, because denying oneself is equivalent to admitting one's own ignorance and shortcomings, which requires great courage. It is a good thing to have the courage to deny oneself and accept new knowledge, but this kind of thing cannot be done often. If there are too many people, they will become unassertive, believe whatever they hear, and be easily guided by external information. So I advise everyone to build a huge library in your mind, and then divide the library into several areas, and divide it into multiple compartments. Fill the bookshelves. At present, human beings have so much knowledge that a person can never finish it in his lifetime. In other words, we cannot fill this big library. But as long as a library is built and the bookshelves are arranged, when we encounter new books When the time comes, we can put it up in different categories, so as not to conflict with the original book. Even if the content is completely opposite, we can accept it like a bystander. Open Our structure is not to be a narrow-minded paranoid, not to argue with those who have different ideas, and to learn everything that is useful to us.
