Global Mutation: My Plant-Based Ex-Girlfriend Is on a Killing Spree

Scarlet spores rain down in torrents, turning the world into a hellscape where plants strangle all life. Lin Shen is clutching a text from his ex-girlfriend, Su Wanqing, inviting him to see her “one last time,” when he witnesses her transform into the “Scarlet Queen” at an abandoned amusement park. Her hair becomes tentacles, her teeth turn jagged as saws, and she drives a vine through his shoulder with her own hands.

As everyone else becomes fertilizer for mutant plants, Lin Shen unexpectedly awakens “Symbiotic Senses.” The fluorescent green fluid seeping from his wound can corrode the scarlet vines, while mysterious markings appear on his palm, concealing the power to overturn the world. And the “symbiotic pact” between him and Su Wanqing makes every battle to the death awaken the madness and tenderness within her even faster.

Petals of memory reveal a shocking truth: her flight from their wedding was a ruse to protect him, and the spore disaster was actually a deranged human experiment to break through dimensional barriers! Amid the ruins of a collapsed civilization, he must fight an alien insect race that offers humanity up as “nourishment” and uncover the “Green Angel Project” inside his ex-girlfriend. As roots wrap around the entire Earth and the Eternal Flower blooms in his heart, this end-of-the-world struggle for survival, born of betrayal, will ultimately rewrite the fate of civilization through symbiosis.
