In the dungeon, Armin stood in ragged clothes, gripping the bars of his cell tightly.
He screamed at Izel outside, his voice hoarse with fury:
“How can we build the freedom our countless comrades bought with their hearts on the blood of the innocent?”
“Why can't we lay down our weapons and talk this out peacefully?”
His voice echoed through the cramped, dim dungeon.
Izel stood silently, helplessness and resolve in his eyes.
He said gravely, “Armin, you're too naive!”
“Don't you know that a man is innocent of a crime, but not of possessing a treasure?”
“The iceburst stone of Paradis Island and the Eldians' Titan bloodline are original sins in themselves.”
“How could Marley, a capitalist empire in its colonial phase, pass up such a tempting prize delivered right to its door?”
“In this cruel world, weakness is a crime.”
“Only by becoming strong enough to crush every enemy can we earn their respect.”
He paused, his tone growing heavier. “When contradictions reach their breaking point, war is unavoidable.”
Izel turned and walked out of the dungeon. Facing the crowds filling the city streets, he raised his right arm and shouted:
“What we can't win on the battlefield, we can't expect to get at the negotiating table!”
“Strike hard enough to break through, and you won't have to fend off a hundred blows!”
Izel surveyed his followers, fire burning in his eyes. “For the revival of our Eldian homeland!”
“For the rise of the great Eldian people!”
“Comrades, roar, bellow, fight!”
“Long live Eldia!”
Crowds as far as the eye could see shouted in a frenzy, their cries shaking the whole world.
“You're a lunatic!” Armin cried in terror.
I hope someone can appreciate my work. In reality, I am just an ordinary person that few people appreciate. 🤦🤦🤦
From the current point of view, it's really good. Come on!
