On Cen Ye’s first day transferring to his new school, a few unlucky things happen. Still, he thinks that’s about as bad as it can get. Then, on his second day, everyone on the bus is talking about a transfer student: supposedly he looks fierce, has always been a poor student, and was forced to leave his last school over some incident... Cen Ye is happily listening in from the back row when he hears them say the kid’s name is Cen Ye. Wait, who?
Thinking that’s bad enough, on his first day of school he gets marked tardy for doing a good deed and helping a lost child.
That’s no big deal, right? He was only late. But then he sees someone on the school forum claiming he was trying to intimidate the school. Who? Me?
Damn that top student! He won’t listen to an explanation. I told him I was just doing a good deed! And I still get marked tardy for it?
How did I suddenly end up with a bunch of nicknames?
Who decided that two people with nothing in common should be deskmates?
These two boys can’t stand each other, and every day people worry they’re going to fight!
Zhou Chi, normally so steady and aloof, is driven to the point of blushing ears by his “nemesis,” until he calls him, “Ye-ge.”

A silly, fun story with no logic. Don’t think too hard, thanks.
The author is sensitive and can’t stand people picking fights.
A bittersweet coming-of-age story about young love.
