Genshin Impact: Legend of the Monsoon Spirit

He transmigrates to another world and gets a System from the start.

But exchanging for Primogems and drawing Intertwined Fates requires fame.

Unfortunately, luck isn't on his side. He's only a lowly baron, and even the most fame he could earn by giving it his all would only be enough to exchange for Dandelion Wine.

Fine, fine. So that's how you want to play?

Then I'll just have to open a tavern.

As it happens, the nation has just lost a war. Taxes are soaring, and the people are suffering, living in dire straits.

Taking another look at Venti in the first Mondstadt banner, Li Jiang smiles knowingly.

He gives a speech at the tavern right from the start.

And just like that, he turns the current storm of public opinion on its head.

I'll bring you bread and milk, and all you have to do is worship the Anemo Archon.

Rise up, all you who refuse to be slaves!

We will march toward freedom and a brighter future!

But then come the Empire's iron cavalry and the invading demons from the north. It seems everything is conspiring to crush this free city-state.

Li Jiang stands atop the city wall, smiling without a word.

God in the highest heavens, I pray to you: may you turn your divine gaze upon this land, where the people are suffering.

Return to us, Anemo Archon of freedom.

We will weave our original fate anew. When we cry your name aloud, freedom will be our answer!

O Anemo Archon, may you protect the people who strive for freedom!

Please, return to us!
