1. The Beta is mostly yielding and conciliatory early on. After awakening in the middle and later parts, he becomes relentlessly sarcastic and talks back to everyone.
2. This is a story about a normal Alpha who goes crazy during his rut, and an ordinary, beautiful Beta who is unaffected by pheromones.
It looks good, although it has flaws (that is, in very tense situations, there are often hesitant emotional pulls between the protagonists, and I personally feel that it is a bit unclear), but the other parts are still okay, and the prelude is very long (about 260 chapters), and the final battle part (about discovering and dealing with the conspiracy) is very short (about 10 chapters).
