A large-scale online management game called Three Kingdoms: A Grand Ambition has arrived, captivating countless players with its faithfully recreated Three Kingdoms settings and rich gameplay.
Han Linmo, an ordinary history enthusiast, unexpectedly becomes one of the game's first players. He chooses a suitably literary username: "Mo Wentian." Han Linmo is deeply interested in Three Kingdoms history and knows countless historical anecdotes and stories about its figures by heart. Thanks to this background, he obtains the mysterious "Ancient Heavenly Tome" in the game.
The "Ancient Heavenly Tome" grants Han Linmo the miraculous ability to summon figures from ancient mythology as his followers. Each summoning, however, costs a certain amount of renown, and the summoned figures' personalities and abilities vary according to Han Linmo's actions and decisions in the game.
