(Supernatural mystery + ancient investigations + demon-slaying + no transmigration, no System) I am a Constable in the flourishing Tang Dynasty, tasked with solving cases and catching criminals. I used to deal only with people, but after coming into possession of a demon-slaying sword, I started rounding up demons too. When I encounter demons and ghosts, whether I capture or kill them is up to my own principles. First, if I don’t like the look of one, I kill it. Second, even if I do like the look of one, I still kill it. Finally, if it knows the immortal arts that can turn a man into a woman, I may spare its life. Plenty of demons curse me as a pervert in their dying moments! I have my reasons, and I’ll tell you all about them as the investigation unfolds.
