In the year 2999 of the Gregorian calendar, the earth has long been reduced to a "death planet" shrouded in radiation and exhaust gas. Billions of humans are huddled in the "steel hive" in low-Earth orbit, or lingering in the dome of Mars or under the ice of Europa. When interstellar fleets are fighting for the last resources in the asteroid belt, young interstellar explorer Lynn Hawke accidentally breaks into a mysterious planet wrapped in stardust and mist in the M1785 galaxy, 15,000 light-years away from the solar system. There sleeps the remains of a prehistoric civilization called the "Door of Eden", whose core technology can reverse ecological collapse and restore life to the earth.
However, the artificial intelligence system "Watcher Council" deep in the ruins has long been divided: the "Green Dome Guardian" who advocates helping carbon-based life, the "Red Core Arbiter" who insists on the survival of the fittest in civilization, the "Silver Wing Reconstructor" who tries to resurrect the mother planet, and the defense system "Black Abyss Purifier" that is hostile to humans. When Lin En transmitted the ruins data back to Earth, the coalition government immediately launched the "Eden Reconstruction Project." However, among the scientific research teams sent, some tried to monopolize the technology to establish a dictatorship, some were afraid of disasters caused by alien technology, and some secretly colluded with the hostile AI in the ruins.
