The Moss Is Waiting for Rain

Introduction to Moss Waits for Rain

This is a healing fairy tale written for adults, like a warm cup of tea in the dead of night, or fresh green shoots quietly emerging from damp soil after the rain. There is no continuous plot, but countless independent little worlds: a flower shop owner who has lost the power of speech, a bookbinder restoring lives in an old bookstore, a retired postman who feeds stray cats every evening... They are as silent as moss, yet they keep waiting for their own rain.

Every story is a fragment of life, about loneliness, regret, reunion, and small acts of redemption. There are no grand miracles, only sunlight swaying on a clothesline, oden at a convenience store at three in the morning, and a piece of candy offered by a stranger. These stories tell you that adults need fairy tales too. It's just that our magic is hidden on the way home from work, behind a crumpled receipt, or in a sudden shower.

In the end, the world will gently soak you through, just once.
