Introduction to "Moss Waiting for a Rain"
This is a healing fairy tale written for adults, like a cup of warm tea late at night, or the new green quietly emerging from the moist soil after the rain. There is no coherent plot in the book, but there are countless independent small worlds hidden in it - the aphasic flower shop owner, the binder who repairs his life in a second-hand bookstore, the retired postman who always feeds stray cats at dusk... They are as silent as moss, but they are always waiting for their own rain.
Each story is a fragment of life, about loneliness, regret, reunion and small redemption. There are no grand miracles, just the swaying sunshine on the clothesline, oden at the convenience store at three in the morning, and a candy handed to me by a stranger. These stories tell you: Adults also need fairy tales, but our magic is hidden on the way from get off work, behind crumpled invoices, or in a sudden rain.
——You will eventually be gently wet by the world.
