Twenty-two-year-old Ye Bai adopted seven-year-old Gu Ling as his sister and took care of her until she was thirty-seven. For fifteen years, Ye Bai stayed by Gu Ling's side.
Until he arrived at the hospital bed, Ye Bai said to Gu Ling: "If there is an afterlife, I will wait for you for fifteen more years."
