The story takes place in a mysterious "Qi Yao Secret Realm". Every seven days is a reincarnation. Participants must complete a survival game designed by the "Qi Yao Star King" (corresponding to the seven stars of the sun, moon, gold, wood, water, fire and earth). In each reincarnation, the player randomly obtains a "star mark" ability (such as controlling time, reading memory), but using the ability requires paying a price (such as memory loss, emotional numbness). The protagonist Lin Yuan is an ordinary person who has lost his memory, and accidentally discovers that he is the only one who can retain "part of the memory of reincarnation."
