Legend says a deity lives atop Creation Mountain. The deity bestows blessings and nurtures all living things. A group of people set out on their own to worship the god, but after enduring countless hardships, only seven remained in the original party. The god blessed them and gave each of them a divine artifact. With the blessings and the artifacts, they discovered how to cultivate and became what people call cultivators. This time, they came to kill a god! The sleeping true god never dreamed the world could change so much. When he opened his eyes, the five false gods were already before him. He unleashed divine punishment, the heavens and earth crumbled, and the false gods were banished to the Dark Plane.
A hundred years ago, exiles from the Dark Plane tried to break through the god’s restraints and forcibly tear open space. They were ultimately slain, but the world’s balance of power was completely reshaped as a result.
