On the day we celebrated my father's honorable retirement, I learned that internet rich kid Lu Ming had doxxed him.
My father's former identity as a border defense armed police officer was exposed. His enemies tracked him down and stabbed him twenty-eight times.
Furious, I reported the doxxer and took him to court, only to discover that my wife was the lawyer representing the other side.
With righteousness written all over her face, my wife declared confidently:
“To my knowledge, my father-in-law had long suffered from depression and no longer wanted to live. His ending up in a vegetative state was purely an accident. And now you want to use this to extort money from rich kid Lu Ming?”
“To uphold the law, I'm willing to put justice before family!”
My wife even filed a countersuit accusing my father of extortion and bribery.
The media cheered, and the judge didn't even look at the evidence I submitted before sentencing my dad to prison.
Later, covered in medals and clutching my grandfather's memorial portrait, I knelt outside the State Council and pleaded for justice:
“My father spent twelve years undercover. My grandfather and mother were both martyrs. Now someone has framed us, leaving our family utterly destroyed!”
“All I ask is for the country to give me justice!”
But then they begged me like dogs to show them mercy.
