From the Start, I Made a Realistic War Game and Players Worldwide Lost It

Li Yun transmigrates to a parallel world where online games have just taken off and binds himself to an Emotion-Based Game Development System.

While everyone else is still reskinning browser games, he pulls out Call of Duty.

On launch day:

Player anger: 999. Player fear: 666.

With full-body haptic suits and realistic pain feedback, Call of Duty becomes an instant legend!

Streamers shatter their shoulder blades from recoil, military buffs recreate the 9/11 tactics in-game, and players cry, “You can’t turn off the pain feedback!”

When rookie players build eight-packs from training in the game and couch potatoes slim down into special forces soldiers in three months, the whole world goes berserk: “What the hell is this, a military training simulator?”

The United Nations issues a warning: “Stop spreading military knowledge!”

But the Pentagon secretly gets in touch: “Brother, can you make us a customized army training module?”

Gamers everywhere say: Other people make games that cost money. Li Yun makes games that cost lives!
