Lu Kong looked at the group with a serious expression and said:
“What I’m about to tell you, don’t freak out.”
Zhao Hu immediately laughed and replied, “I’m a veteran. We’re not going to freak out. Go ahead.”
Lu Kong continued, “I got tied up by a game last night.”
Zhao Hu and Li Qi exchanged a knowing look and leaned back in a tactical maneuver. Then they asked:
“What game?”
Lu Kong replied:
“It’s one of those games that claim to be a hundred percent realistic.”
Zhao Hu asked, puzzled:
“GTA 5?”
Lu Kong shook his head.
“It’s not set in a city. It’s in the jungle and the desert.”
Zhao Hu offered another guess, still puzzled:
“Horizon?”
Lu Kong shook his head again.
“It’s not a racing game. It’s a completely open world.”
Zhao Hu seemed to know the answer.
“Red Dead Redemption?”
Lu Kong rejected that guess too.
“The game isn’t set in the past. It’s in the future!”
Li Qi jumped in with the answer:
“Cyberpunk 2077!”
Lu Kong finally lost his temper. “It’s a Wasteland game! Haven’t you seen the movie? It’s that kind of post-nuclear-war world.”
I read seven chapters.
My brain is still useful, I can't throw it away just to read this novel.
