(Fast kills, alternate high-martial world, building an army and conquering the realm, lighthearted comedy)
This is the Tianwu Dynasty, where the empress is young and seventy-two cities are locked in a brutal free-for-all.
There is a band of bandits on Dragonrider Mountain. Their chief is brave but witless, and their second-in-command is infertile.
They have a terrifying young chief.
The man is downright toxic: he coats his cleaver in iodine!
He only wanted to rob people for food and money, and kill a few rich tyrants to get by.
But the System wants him to pacify this chaotic age, promising he can return to his hometown once the realm is at peace.
So he decides to wipe out the cities one by one. If everyone fighting dies, won’t that mean no one can fight anymore?
He pulls out a sack of dexamethasone and scatters it into the water supply.
The next day, the Qingzhou Army is wiped out, dead from the common cold.
Then he grinds a sack of sildenafil into powder and mixes it into the Dingzhou Army’s provisions.
That night, the military camp resounds with songs of debauchery...
When he marches on Thousand Demon City with ten tons of nitroglycerin, even the Demon Emperor goes mad.
Definitely the best in tomatoes
The more I watch it, the better it gets. The story is not cliche, and there are no slap-in-the-face plots. There are quite a few unexpected twists and turns. The characters are lovable, mean-mouthed, kind-hearted, yet ruthless and decisive. It's a pretty good book.
