Brother, I'm Only Eight! You Want Me to Be Regent?

Zhao Chengyu transmigrates to the Qianyuan Dynasty, which is in the midst of a war.

He becomes Prince Chu of the Qianyuan Dynasty, the youngest brother of Emperor Zhao Huanyu.

The brothers have always been close, and Zhao Chengyu only wants to lie flat and live as an idle prince.

Unfortunately, war rages across the land. Zhao Huanyu leads his troops into battle, only to suffer fatal injuries and die, leaving behind a five-year-old child.

On his deathbed, in front of everyone, Zhao Huanyu appoints Zhao Chengyu regent, hoping he will guide the young ruler and govern on his behalf.

“I'm only eight, and you want me to be regent? You're not joking, are you, big brother?” The civil and military officials are stunned, and Zhao Chengyu himself can't make heads or tails of it.

“My dear little brother, stop pretending. I've heard all about what you've been up to.”
