[Both leads are each other’s first love + overpowered heroine + a touch of ensemble cast + my take on cultivation + a sweet, doting story where I think I’m the heroine of a tragic romance]
Annual message from the Moon Goddess Who Saves the World, Jiaojiao (happy ending edition):
“What face will my cultivation partner be wearing today? I can’t wait! My virtuous husband gives me ten thousand taels of gold, while my darling husband sends me soaring to the heavens!”
[Lazy, lecherous, sunshiny little survivor who quietly grows stronger and amazes everyone x countless secret identities, aloof beauty, hopeless romantic]
Good news: Jiaojiao transmigrates into the cultivation world and gets a free cultivation partner from the start: Ling Hanxiao, the aloof, supreme sword cultivator.
Bad news: He’s widely recognized as the undisputed number one on the cultivation world’s “Kills His Wife to Prove the Dao” ranking.
Jiaojiao: “...I’m screwed! Gamblers are doomed X_X! I’ll hang on until you’ve bet everything you own, then take your life-bound treasures!”
Marked by the Heavenly Dao as “guaranteed to die,” Jiaojiao waits for the right moment to make a run for it!
Who knew her cultivation partner had secret identities everywhere? Even as an octopus, Jiaojiao couldn’t keep up with his split-personality antics.
The unattainable leader of the Sword Sect is just the standard version!
The rough-looking but tender-hearted country blacksmith (farmer-uncle limited edition)
The dazzling young prodigy (time to start the “young mistress” trope! Wait, what?)
The deranged master of fate in a dark prison (What an insolent rebel!)
Only when she accidentally drew close to his inner demon did she finally hear the truth beneath his icy exterior.
“Wow! You’ve had a crush on me for a thousand years?”
“Then why did you push me away? You’re such a poser!”
[Sword Venerable’s wife baby-making progress: Thanks for asking, still a tiny bit away...]

“Just being able to see her once is already the Heavenly Dao’s mercy. How could I dare ask to bind her in a cage in the name of love...”
“Hey, handsome, gimme a kiss! (Jiaojiao makes a dazzling entrance, rose between her teeth)”
It's nice to look at, but I can't understand it in some places.
It's good to read, but I didn't understand it until I got to the middle part. I realized it's very exciting, but I feel like it's over before it's even finished. Will the author continue writing?
