President Qin, Hurry Up and Make Your Move, or Your Childhood Crush Will Be Gone

[Powerful Beijing family + childhood sweethearts + devoted love + mutual pining + healing + sweet romance]

What she thought was a lonely, chaotic one-sided crush was actually a love shared by two people who cared too much about each other to find the courage to admit it.

Ten years together, five years apart.

Lin Youyou reunites with Qin Luming after a long separation, at her most disheveled. He's inside the elevator; she's outside it.

At that moment, Lin Youyou doesn't know what comes over her. She suddenly loses her nerve.

The long-awaited reunion, the poise and composure she meant to show him, all vanish from her mind. She can't even find the courage to greet him calmly.

She turns and bolts, darting into the elevator beside her just as its doors are about to close. They shut behind her at the last possible moment.

As she flees in a panic, she hears Qin Luming shout in exasperation, “Lin Youyou, why are you running?” But she can't worry about that now.

Reunited after years apart, the two of them can't hide their feelings. They tentatively test each other, drawing closer and pulling away, and their feelings grow warmer by the day.

Lin Youyou had thought her secret crush would be a lonely act of courage that came to nothing.

She never imagined that Qin Luming had been waiting all along, guarding his love through the years until she could see what was in her own heart.
