The sky is eternally gray, the land is barren, and civilization collapsed long ago. The only things worth a few coins are the scraps of metal occasionally unearthed in the trash heaps. Here, a human life is worth less than a rusty knife, kindness is a luxury, and staying alive takes a little luck, but even more shamelessness.
Lin Yi is a wasteland wanderer who doesn't even know where he came from. His days are spent rummaging through garbage for valuables, fighting rats over food, and outsmarting traps. Then one day, a mysterious creature forces him into a trade, giving him a "Demon's Eye" that can see how greedy other people are.
