Fake Eunuch: A Scalpel Gives Me Power Over the Six Palaces

Emergency-room ace Gu Yunshen wakes in the body of a condemned official's son, half dead in the eunuch quarters. With a steel needle to stitch an artery and alcohol as a disinfectant, he turns the castration operation into a ruse that lets him survive as a fake eunuch.

The Empress Dowager needs him to treat her heart condition with acupuncture at close quarters; a consort seeks his miraculous hands to save her pregnancy; and a mad concubine in the Cold Palace writes a letter in blood in English.

With a scalpel in his left hand to save the royal heirs and hemostats in his right to fight the court officials, he rises from a slave in the Imperial Pharmacy to head of the Imperial Medical Academy. Just as his title of “Nine-Thousand-Year-Old” rings through the palace, the Grand Princess on the imperial bed presses a finger to his Adam's apple and smiles. “Lord Gu, what medicine should be used to cure your crime of deceiving the throne?”
