The Dragon Soul Road Through Misty Rain

In the waning years of the Yuan and the dawn of the Ming, Nanbang County, on an island, has become a lawless place. The traitorous magistrate Yan Chuncai conspires with Japanese merchant Noda Saburo to traffic in drugs and amass wealth, but the two turn against each other when their interests clash. Long Wen, orphaned child of former magistrate Long Weimin, kills drug lord Cha Shide to avenge his father, only to be manipulated by Sakura, Noda's daughter, into killing Yan Chuncai for her. Sakura's trusted aide, Su Yunfei, is moved by Long Wen's sincerity and switches sides, becoming his ally. After succeeding Yan as magistrate, Long Wen reignites the campaign against opium and raises the banner of resistance against the Japanese, winning the people's support. He and his companions rally righteous warriors and make the island their battlefield, repeatedly breaking through the encirclement of Japanese raiders and their traitorous collaborators. But when Long Wen leads his forces into the enemy's lair, he discovers that darkness has taken root far deeper than he imagined. Faced with an even greater conspiracy, they burn the enemy camp to the ground and set out to find reinforcements. The sea fog has yet to lift, and the fires of war blaze anew!
