Going All-In on Industry in Ancient Times

Chen Mo, a modern mechanical engineer, accidentally transmigrates into an ancient era of chaos, where agriculture is backward, industry nonexistent, and the people suffer terribly. Drawing on his modern knowledge, he improves farming tools and builds irrigation works, doubling crop yields; smelts steel, forges iron, and improves gunpowder to create an elite army; then establishes workshops and lays roads, pushing handicrafts toward industrialization. But the great aristocratic families see him as a threat, powerful court officials repeatedly obstruct him, and foreign enemies are watching hungrily. Can Chen Mo use technology to turn the tide and spark an industrial revolution on this ancient land?
