But My Childhood Friend Says He'll Spoil Me for Extra Cash

[Tsundere, secretly affectionate school bully gong × money-loving, golden-retriever-like drama-queen shou]

[Childhood sweethearts]

Fang Chuyang was the notorious school bully at No. 1 High School.

He had trained in sanda and martial arts since childhood, and ranked among the top ten academically. Truly accomplished both in and out of the classroom, he even became “head of campus security” after his childhood friend helped him find his conscience.

Lin Zhichun always figured his fortune-telling charts meant he was destined to be short on cash.

He learned to watch every penny from an early age. In elementary school, he was already determined to follow his childhood friend Fang Chuyang, running errands, doing odd jobs, and doing his homework. Whenever Fang Chuyang ran into trouble, Lin Zhichun was the first to jump in.

Fang Chuyang frowned and asked him, “Don't you think it's a hassle?”

Lin Zhichun grinned, his eyes shining. “Pay me more and we're good.”

A short story about Fang Chuyang and Lin Zhichun.
