Welcome to Aiwende, the beautiful and flourishing Central World. There are no rampaging warlord conflicts here, no political conspiracies or power struggles between nations, only a rare century of peace. Freshly trained Spell Hunters travel the world in the name of the Church, upholding the will of the Saints to punish the wicked and slay all manner of demons and monsters beneath the holy sword. They meet people from different worlds, regions, races, and walks of life, and, on the eve of bloodshed, search for a reason to keep living.
