The General's Family Awakens: The Useless Legitimate Daughter Takes the World by Storm

Lin Xi, a modern female special forces soldier, is hit by a stray bullet while rescuing hostages. When she opens her eyes again, she’s become Lu Yunzhi, the “useless legitimate daughter” of a great general’s household in the Great Sheng Dynasty.

Because she has a crush on the censor Jiang Yanli, her cousin sets her up at a spring banquet, swapping the poem of longing she copied for a “pig-slaughtering curse.” She’s mocked on the spot as “all looks and no brains,” made a public laughingstock, and ridiculed as “a toad lusting after swan meat.”

The general’s residence is a nest of hidden currents. On the surface, the great general who protects the nation commands respect across the land, and the household basks in glory. Behind closed doors, power struggles and schemes coil like venomous snakes, ready to devour Lu Yunzhi at any moment.

But now Lu Yunzhi’s combat boots grind over shattered jade, and her tactical belt gleams beneath her flowing gown. She wears the roguish grin unique to special forces soldiers.

“Scheming in an ancient household?”

“Sorry, I play real-life paintball…”

Watch her cut through the power struggles in the general’s household, rising from a “useless fool” everyone reviles to a bold and formidable legitimate daughter who takes the world by storm.

Her clashes with Jiang Yanli turn into tangled feelings, stirring up the court and household intrigue until everything is thrown into chaos.

But when the truth behind the Battle of Tie Men Pass comes to light, Lu Yunzhi is plunged into an icy abyss… Will she kill her enemy with her own hands, or let go of her obsession?

Amid reversals of love and hate, she faces the most heart-wrenching finale…
