[Proud Actress × Brooding, Devoted Movie Star] [Rekindled Romance + Sweet Romance + One-on-One]
Eight years ago, everyone at school knew Lin Qingran was pursuing Zhou Huan. She loved him so much she couldn't let go, but in the end, their story ended in regret.
Eight years later, they meet again. Zhou Huan has become the hottest movie star in the entertainment industry, while Lin Qingran's career is in crisis after her former company stabbed her in the back.
They reunite because of a film.
In the pouring rain on set, Zhou Huan uses the scene to confess his true feelings. He holds Lin Qingran and desperately tries to make her stay. “I'm sorry. I was wrong, it was all my fault. Give me another chance, okay? Let's start over. I promise I'll never lie to you again...”
“How could that happen? We can never go back to how things were.”
Lin Qingran never goes back to an ex. But after filming wraps, Zhou Huan follows her to the audition building, his voice pleading. “Whatever kind of person you like now, I can be that... Just give me a chance.”
When she finally looks back, her ex is waiting beneath the lights.
