The Sword's Song Along the River

The path of cultivation begins with sensing spiritual energy and refining the mortal body. Cultivators start in the Mortal Dust Realm, grasping their first wisp of spiritual energy in obscurity. Upon breaking through to the Body Tempering Realm, they gain the strength to move mountains. When spiritual energy condenses into liquid in the dantian, they reach the Essence Condensation Realm. From there, they comprehend the principles of heaven and earth, eventually attaining the Profound Mystery Realm. Those who can withstand the heavenly tribulation with their mortal bodies and survive achieve the Tribulation Breaking Realm. By drawing upon the power of the stars, they enter the Celestial Radiance Realm and can ride the clouds and wind. Once their primordial spirits are refined and made immortal, they become mighty Sacred Spirits. Those who glimpse the mysteries of heaven may ascend to the pinnacle of the Heaven-Piercing Realm. Once they comprehend reincarnation, they can stand supreme over the Three Realms. As for becoming an emperor and creating a new heaven, that exists only in legend.
