One Piece: What I, Zoro, Value Is Knowing How to Handle People

[Zoro Fic] [No Saintly Protagonist] [Topple the World Government] [Multiple Female Leads] [Social Savvy] [Connections] [Background]

(Even a girl who practices swordsmanship can fall down the stairs and die.

So it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for a boy who trains to die from overexertion.)

In a parallel world, Zoro dies from overtraining. A transmigrator takes his place and becomes Zoro.

After growing up, he originally plans to join the Straw Hat Pirates of his own accord. But fate has other plans, and Luffy invites him first. Zoro then asks to become vice captain, and succeeds.

Afterward, he makes up for some past hurts. While traveling, he discovers that he isn't the only anomaly.

Remember, when sailing the seas, what matters isn't strength but social savvy. Relying on brute force alone won't get you far. One more friend makes the journey that much smoother.

(The protagonist is as strong as one of the Four Emperors from the start, and his swordsmanship matches Hawkeye's. He doesn't want to outshine the Straw Hat crew, so he holds back his strength. No matter the opponent, he can usually finish them off in one or two cuts.

Besides being Zoro, he also has another identity: the "Central Ghost Emperor" of the Dark Soul Empire.)
