This Sect Leader Is Clearly Overpowered, Yet Far Too Cautious tells the story of Jiang Cheng, a modern young man who transmigrates to the world of cultivation.
He gains the "Undying Heavenly Desolate Physique," but has only three chances to come back to life.
He wanted to cultivate in peace, but gets dragged into sect rivalries instead.
By chance, he tames "Ah Huang," a fragment of the world's core, and becomes the leader of a dilapidated sect.
With a cheat ability that drains his opponents' spiritual power and the cautious ways of a scheming old fox, Jiang Cheng teaches his disciples the survival philosophy of "run if you can't win."
Meanwhile, he repeatedly swings between showing off and getting humbled, gradually restoring the sect to its former glory.
