Set in a modern city, this world conceals surges of energy from another realm, and changes in the phases of the moon affect the forms of certain extraordinary creatures.
At its heart lies the coastal city of Yungang, home to a special nexus connecting the human and spirit realms: Moonview Alley.
Three kinds of extraordinary beings inhabit this world: the Moon Spirit Clan, who become spirits by absorbing moonlight; the Night Watchers, who inherit ancient bloodlines; and the Society of Eternal Life, whose members seek immortality. The story follows the three-way struggle sparked by the awakening of a cat demon.
