Jiang Yu, a modern doctor with doctorates in both Chinese and Western medicine, transmigrates into the body of Jiang Wantang, the mistreated legitimate daughter of the prime minister's household. The original Jiang Wantang had stumbled upon her stepmother's shocking affair with the household steward: her vicious stepsister is an illegitimate child! A withered branch ends her hopes of survival. After she is poisoned, her body is thrown into a bottomless abyss! As she falls, she opens her eyes, but a different soul is now inside.
The icy pool bites to the bone, and a hand clamps around her throat, choking her! At the brink of death, she uses a silver needle to subdue the violent, naked masked man in the pool. "Want to live? Let go!" They save each other in their desperate plight: she uses her mastery of Chinese and Western medicine to suppress his deadly poison, and he spares her life so they can climb out alive.
Reborn from the ashes, she tears down villains with one hand: she rips off her stepmother's mask, exposes the scandal surrounding her birth, and drives her stepsister, who stole her place, out of the prime minister's household! With the other, she builds her fortune: toilet paper revolutionizes daily life, wealthy ladies scramble for herbal beauty products, and sexy lingerie ignites a secret craze in the capital!
Only when the God of War, Ninth Prince Nangong Cangming, arrives drenched in blood, clad in his python robe, does she hear him say, his gaze deep as a pool, "You saved my life. I, your prince, shall repay you by giving you myself." Then she realizes that the man who had grabbed her throat beneath the icy pool was none other than the power-wielding, unhinged God of War!
"My lord, I can cure your poison, and I can help you rule the realm without rival!" See how this physician consort saves lives with golden needles in one hand and commands the world with ruthless force in the other.
