Chen Moli was a quiet girl who loved literature, rational and independent, and used distance to protect herself. The two should have had nothing to do with each other, but an assigned study group forced them to grow closer.
From clashing over how to solve problems to finding common ground in their literary interests, from the troubles caused by school gossip to heart-to-heart talks on a secluded bench by the lake, their relationship quietly changed with every encounter.
But when He Zhishu's overbearing father stepped in, demanding that he transfer schools and cut off all "pointless socializing," the feelings just beginning to blossom between them were forced to face the test of reality.
Chen Moli decided she would no longer wait passively. She took up her pen like a sword and anonymously published an article titled "Meeting You Around the Corner" in the school's literary magazine, putting her truest feelings into words. After reading it, He Zhishu finally found the courage to wait for her by the lake in the setting sun...
