My Senior Year Begins, and I Awaken the Top Student System

The instant Lin Yan was knocked flying by the school bully on the basketball court at Yun Gang No. 7 Middle School, his memories burst apart like shattered glass.

When he opened his eyes again, golden patterns glimmered over the formulas in his textbook. The troublemaking underachiever who always ranked fifth from the bottom in his grade had activated the “Top Student System.”

The moment blue light flashed in his eyes, trigonometric functions automatically linked up into a star chart across his retinas. After flipping through two pages of Organic Chemistry, his mental sandbox was already modeling the possibility of creating a new catalyst.

When the academic dean sneered and threatened to “expel” him, Lin Yan slapped the mock exam he’d just finished on the desk. “A comprehensive exam tomorrow? If I get full marks in every subject, will that be enough to make you rethink your judgment of people?”

Su Wan, in a wine-red slip dress, leaned against the classroom doorway and smiled. Jiang Tang, her hair in a ponytail, held up a teddy bear charm and called, “Yan, watch the doorframe!” The new transfer student quietly jotted down his likes in a notebook. This senior class was about to turn the world upside down.
