The Living Buddha Jigong: A Temple Master’s Legend

The protagonist, Dongfang Ming, transmigrates into The Living Buddha Ji Gong and becomes the abbot of a Taoist temple. There, he discovers that the temple holds the legacy of Erlang Shen, Yang Jian. He undergoes three trials: first, a test of his heart; second, a test of his understanding of the Dao; and third, a test of self. After passing them, he spends three months mastering the basics of the Eight-Nine Arcane Art and receives the Demon-Slaying Sword, the Purple Thunder Talisman, and the Demon-Hunting Map. Over the next ten years, he exorcises demons and vanquishes evil, recruiting the wolf demon Tianlang and eagle demon Yufeng as allies. Together with Daoji, he works to preserve peace and balance in the world.
